Oprah had a show on men refusing to marry, probably quite a few years ago. First, she showed some really gorgeous skanks, real beauties of several races. They were all whining that men were no good, they didn't want to marry.
Then, she showed a chubby, sort of plain woman with her handsome husband, both with big smiles on their faces. Plain and Chubby had nailed a really handsome husband, while super-babes were whining.
Oprah asked the husband why he chose to marry. He said he had sort of been dating different women, and one day P&C knocked on his door. When he opened it, she came in, spread a cloth on the table and laid out a nice picnic dinner for him on his living room floor.
He said he broke up with other women he was dating in the following few weeks, and started only dating her. It wasn't long before he asked her to marry him.
Oprah asked him, "Why was that picnic dinner so important to you?"
He said, (emphasis mine), "NO WOMAN EVER DID ANYTHING FOR ME BEFORE."
I have repeated that comment when some woman whines about men not wanting to
make a commitment. Boy, do they scream -- but no evidence they do anything for anyone. :)
